Symantec Raises Renewal Rates

By mrcomputer ·
Has anybody renewed NAV lately? The new price is $34.95. A week ago it was $24.95. A month ago it was $19.95. Renewals now cost more that the new products.
In a releated note: Symantec is on track for record sales!

Try the Competition

I have recently switched to AVG for my home customers after finding numerous machines with non-functional anti-virus programs due to expired subscriptions. It works great and does not expire. Give it a try, and perhaps the office versions work well too!

Also gave up on NAV 2004

by thespacekadet In reply to I gave up on NAV in 2004

Activation problem was a nightmare. Calling support was no help. Technical staff difficult to understand (could not speak english) and unhelpful. I got so frustrated that I have returned Symantec Norton AntiVirus 2004 to vendor for a refund. I downloaded the AVG Anti-Virus trial as a replacement and so far it is working like a charm.
