Symantec Winfax Pro / Outlook 2003

I am running windows xp professional with sp2 and all updates. I use Symantec Winfax Pro 10.02.
Since installing Office 2003 and all updates, Outlook 2003 freezes frequently when Winfax Pro is running. After searching for a fix, it seems that Winfax Pro 10.03 might fix this problem. Symantec will not give me the fix and will make me buy the upgrade. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it by upgrading to Winfax Pro 10.03
