Hi, i’m building a new pc using my present working lcd screen. This new pc’s chassis has a LCD front panel (coolermaster cm-282).
I’ve assembled the pc. When i start the pc, the cpu fan and chassis fan is running, and the front panel LCD (of the chassis) is lid. But there’s no vga signal, black screen.
I’ve troubleshoot and found out that:
When i connect the LCD front panel (of the chassis) to the psu power supply, my monitor gets no signal at all (black screen). The monitor is still in standby mode (the LED on the monitor is orange color)
But when i disconnect power to the LCD front panel (of the chassis). The monitor is no longer in standby mode (the LED on the monitor is green). And i get a message (from the monitor) saying “signal detecting something”, which is shown on and off the black screen (note: the monitor itself is ON all the time. The LED on the monitor is green)
Is this a sign of my psu under power?
Please reply, thanks.
