Synching Password

By bfeltus ·
We are a novell shop. User need access to windows 2000 server. Currently I create the user on the w2k server and set their passwords manually to the novell password. Is their a way to synch the passwords? We are not using active directory or domains. These are MEMBER servers.

P-Synch is the answer for you:

http://www.psynch.com/

It can sync up passwords on multiple Windows stand alone boxes with the Novell password, so the users will have the same password everywhere. It also works on Unix boxes (including Linux and Solaris).

We are using it at my company, and it works great.

do you have ESU? if so then you need to buy other software to do it for you. otherwise, isntalling the novell client will do it for you... well actually for the users. you shouldn't have to do anything.
