Synchronize Server Time using W32tm

by eti . Updated 24 years, 6 months ago

In one of the most recent articles the usage of w32tm was described. But everytime I try w32tm to synchronize the clock of my W2K DC I’ll receive the following lines:
C:\>w32tm -s ntp0.fau.de
RPC to server ntp0.fau.de returned 0x6ba

C:\>ping ntp0.fau.de

Ping ntp0-rz.rrze.uni-erlangen.de [131.188.3.220] mit 32 Bytes Daten:

Antwort von 131.188.3.220: Bytes=32 Zeit=30ms TTL=244

Ping-Statistik f?r 131.188.3.220:
Pakete: Gesendet = 4, Empfangen = 4, Verloren = 0 (0% Verlust),
Ca. Zeitangaben in Millisek.:
Minimum = 30ms, Maximum = 30ms, Mittelwert = 30ms
As you can see the dedicated sntp server is in the reach of my DC.
Any clues ???

Regards Peter
