Synchronizing Exchange Mailbox sent items folder with PST

It seems when you send messages from Outlook for Web Access and Terminal Server via Exchange 2000 that the next time you connect to the Exchange Server (via Internet Mail Service)the sent items folder does not download any chnges to the mailbox. Do you know of a way for the sent items to get synchronized.

I know if you use the Exchange Mail Service, there are settings for Offline mail storage (ost files) which is a copy of what’s of their whole Exchange Mailbox including the sent items folder.Is this the only way to accomplish this?
