Syncing the GAL in Exchange 2003

By ktr667 ·
I have an Exchange 2003 server that has a GAL that needs to be able to sync with an online membership database. The database is an Open SQL database and is hosted at another location. This environment was running on an NT 4.0 server with Exchange 5.5 and had scripts that ran automatically that would sync the database with the GAL. How can I get these scripts to run with Exchange 2003 or is there an easier way to do this. ay help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Exchange 2003 doesn't have a GAL. It runs queries via LDAP to the Active Directory Global catalog server.

You will need a tool that can synchronize the AD database to the Open SQL database. OctetString makes an excellent product for this. There website is http://www.octetstring.com/ Tell Fred that Jerry had ya call.
