Syncronizing 2 different drives

By waverly.nichols ·
How do I syncronize my local hard drive with a shared drive on the same server? My local hard drive is D and shared drive is T. I want to input/change/update information on the D drive and have it also make the same changes to duplicate files on the T drive. I want to be able to log onto my laptop at home and know that the information I'm looking at has the newest information.

This is how you do it in XP Pro:

When connected to the network right click the shared drive (T). Choose make availabe offline. This will start a wizard that will walk you throught the rest of the setup. After that you can always open My Computer, select Tools, select syncronize and further refine your settings. Note that this will sync the entire folder not just select files.

Good Luck.

I did as you suggested. How does the shared drive know which computer drive to sync with? Thanks for the help!
