syntoy autosync when USB drive inserted?

By TechSerf ·
I've installed synctoy and it seems ok, but I'd like to know if there's a way to have it automatically sync with my flash drive, as soon as it's inserted.

You need to create an "autorun.inf" file in your root directory of your flash drive. It should contain the following code:

OPEN="C:\Program Files\Microsoft\SyncToy\SyncToy.exe" -R
ACTION=SyncToy All Files

the -R flag tells SyncToy to sync all the files. There's more information in the synctoy "Help" "How to schedule..." menu, allowing you to sync just a few.
Hope it helps
