Sysfader hanging the PC

By freddybenten ·
I have a notebook (4 months old)that has been consistently hanging, running Windows 2000. Programs that hang include both Outlook and Excel 2000. When going into Task Manager, Sysfader is listed as a program that is not responding. When we try to End Task, it says it cannot close a program that is currently being debugged. The only way to kill it is to reboot the computer, and then it starts up on its own. Microsoft Knowledge Base has one article, referencing Internet Explorer. The newsgroups have only 3 postings, and they are in German. Does anyone know what this program is and what might be causing it problems?

I am having similar problems but am running xp pro. Look on google for "sysfader" then scroll down to the one from gladiator security forum, i found this one the most useful. If this doesn't help e-mail me and i'll see what i can do.
