I am considering copying my nightly backup tapes to DVD as we need to keep every backup from now on. Tapes are expensive and I could write them to DVD and re-use the tape. I am wondering what is the max storage capacity for a DVD. I see I can purchase up to 9.4 gig but wonder if burners can take advantage of the higher capacity. Is anyone using DVD for backups????
