Hello,
I formatted my hard drive over the weekend and reloaded Windows XP Pro. I have installed all the MS updates.
The problem I am facing is that when I use “msconfig”, I get a message saying “An access denied error was returned while attempting to change a service. You may need to log on as an Administrator account to make the specific changes.”
The thing is that my user account is of the administrator group and it seems I have no problem with saving the configuration, but I do not know why I am getting that message.
Any ideas?
