System Configuration Utility General

by swat3commander . Updated 24 years, 9 months ago

I notice that when I’m on System Configuration Utility on general that I see selective startup and these are the ones that are check for that, process Config.sys file, process Autoexec.bat file, process system.ini file, process win.ini file, and load startup groups items, and this one appears not to be checked because it does not allow me to check it process Winstart.bat file.

My question is I think I know why those are check for that is because I edited the startup list the programs I want toauto startup on windows and uncheck the ones that I do not want to autostartup push apply restart computer ect.

But the ones I see check is it’s the same if I check Normal startup-Load all device drivers and software. Because I don’t understand that I tryed it before I check box normal startup I reboot go back there and see everything on startup list and watch everything run at startup again, I also see in the list everything checked all items in the list, And if I uncheck 1 of them then I see in the general that all these names are check and its not on normal startup, So does everything startup like before just the programs that I uncheck don’t want to autostart up. Whats the differences I guess I should say.
