i was wondering if someone can help me with my problem. My computer is a dinosaur of sorts because i’m still running windows xp home edition. Anyway i installed a dvd drive because my cd burner died. since then on occasion when i restart my computer, it doesn’t make it through the start test. i get a really loud beep that continues until i unplug the computer and starts it back up
