Could someone help me out? I have a W2K DC, I have created new user with domain Admin rights but limited its access to some of the server in the domain and not all. If I want to create a drive mapping on the server that the user have access from a different machine (regardless whether the machine is on the same subnet or not) I get the following error: “\\192.168.0.1\e$ is not accessible you might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. The user is not allowed to log on from this workstation”. “the following error appears when connected using the net use command: “System error 2240 has occurred. The user is not allowed to log on from this workstation.” If I allow the user to have access on all computers then the problem is solved. Is there a way that I can connect to the same computer with only the limited access enabled?
