System Freeze when Power Cable is pluged off

Hi, i have a T60 Lenovo, everytime i plug off the adapter, the system freezes. What would be the cause of this problem and how can i fix it.
Please advice guys..Thanks a bunch

  What are the power settings set to on your laptop? Most likely this could be happening when your NB has ‘Full Power’ (conected to the mains) chosen in the power settings. -d
