I have a HP Pavilion Pc at home and windows 98 second edition operting system.
It has an auto shut down feature,that means once you click the shut down icon the system shuts down and the power also is swithed off.
The problem is that sometimes the system hangs at shut down i.e “windows is shutting down screen appears” . now i have to manually switch off the power supply.
This runs the scandisk the next time i start the system.
Can you please solve my problem?
