We are a rural school district. A computer lab has been experiencing random machine problems that are unexplainable. The machines will hang up constantly or the screens will go black for no reason. At random, users will not be able to log into the Novell system. Machines have been rebuilt and still exhibit the same problems. I have placed a known good machine from another building into the network and found that it too experiences the same problems. Our network support people are at a loss.
There is a recognized problem with “spiking” in the district. Has anyone had similar problems and found resolutions?
