Laptop or Tower?.

Tower:
Make sure that your heatsink and fan are ok.
Take off your heatsink and fan, give it a clean (clean off the paste), also clean your processor. When all ok, put a very SMALL amount of thermal paste onto your processor, then place your heatsink and fan on top and fasten it down. Make sure that the little cable from the fan on the heatsink is connected to your motherboard, if ok then re-boot your computer and see if all is ok. You might need to go into your BIOS and select "load default settings" and then "save and exit". Now your computer should be ok.

laptop:
Make sure there is no fluff in the air ports at the back of the computer, if there are bits of fluff there lightly **** at the ports to clean it out, make sure all is clean before turning on.
