Hi all,
I will setup an NT 4.0 server on a new Compaq ML530 with a 5300 Array controller.
I know that in the past there was a limitation on how large your system
partition can be (4 GB or 7.8 GB)depending on the translation of the drive.
Do you know if this is still true with this new controller?
Also some documents on Compaq’s web site recommends to setup two logical
drives – one for the system partition and another one for the data
partition. They mention performance and so on for this setup. Any thoughts
on separate logical drives versus one logical drive with multiple partitions?
