here's a tiny example of a policy-template

CLASS USER

CATEGORY !!Numlock On at Startup
KEYNAME "Control Panel\Keyboard"

POLICY !!Numlock On at Startup
VALUENAME "InitialKeyboardIndicators"
VALUEON NUMERIC 2 VALUEOFF NUMERIC 1
END POLICY
END CATEGORY ;

[strings]
Numlock On at Startup="Enable NUM LOCK before a user logs on"

this is a template for winnt. but as you know there're no huge differencies between nt and 9x. so templates for win9x must work the same way. good luck

(VALUENAME = in regedit on the right side, left pane)
