System Resources Memory

by seastar_64 . Updated 25 years, 3 months ago

I have a question about RAM… I noticed on my System Resources screen that I only have 37% free noted. I have 128MB RAM. What does system resources mean? Does it have anything to do with RAM? My computer at school has about 85% free. I am constantly on the internet and I know that it eats RAM. I do use my maint programs often to keep my computer in tip top shape. I have a Dell B866 and it is only 5 months old. I have not installed alot of programs and save most data on floppys. I also delete my cookies and temp files. Am I worrying about nothing? I just want to maintain my memory. What else can I do? Are there any temp cache files that may take up RAM?

Thanks
