Click Start, All programs, Accsessories, system tools, and the last option will be System Restore.

To start it without windows press F8 or F10 (I can't remember which) and slect system restore from the menu.

1.Just go to the start menu.
2.Select All Programs, then
3.Go to Accessories.
4.Go to System Tools.
5.Go to System Restore.

Make sure System Restore is enabled in the Control Panel, by selecting Perforemence and Maintenance Category, then select System, and go to the System Restore Tap and make sure that the System Restore is Enabled.

Hope this helps
