Windows ME. I’m still pulling my hair out over this. I go to START then HELP then USE SYSTEM RESTORE. There are no points to restore my computer to an earlier time. So I click on “CREATE A RESTORE POINT”, then “NEXT”. I type in a restore point description, then NEXT. Window pops up to say “SYSTEM RESTORE IS NOT ABLE TO CREATE A RESTORE POINT. PLEASE RESTART THE COMPUTER AND THEN RUN SYSTEM RESTORE AGAIN.”
I restart and get the same thing every time. Additionally, under help, if I try to “FIND A TOPIC IN THE INDEX”, the next screen pops up with the Help and Support icon at the top and nothing underneath it. Any ideas on how to create a restore point on this freaking computer ? Please ?
