Hello,
I would like to setup a small business LAN/WAN network. This is a FREE service.
I would like to have a website and FTP server and storage.
Below is a brief description of what I have and would like some advice on the best way to set this up.
This a rough draft and interested inquires only.
* If you could provide me with IP diagrams and system operating software advise and I can get more hardware parts if needed to improve the situation.
What I like to do is upload and download Service Repair manuals, Owners manuals, retrieve manuals over the internet from manufactures and have a web site for service centers to log in at so they have access to this information. There is a lot of data being passed thru-out the network. Some manuals are stored on CD and some on the removable HDD tower.
Average size manual is 1-3 Meg.
ALSO, maybe a customer and manufacture database.
If you want to design a website/webpage, your advertisements are free.
Maybe a college project, or business promotion advertisement.
I have main servers:
3 – Compaq 5500 Server – Quad-Xeon 500 MHz, 8gig RAM, dual NIC and 2-18g hdd.
1 – Raid SCSI Perc-2/QC card with 2-int ports, 4 ports external

1- PC 2.0 GHz 512M RAM 20Gig HDD 10/100 LAN
5 – MISC PC?s from 500 MHz to 1 GHz w/ 512RAM 10gHDD
1- 6-bay HDD SCSI Storage Tower w/Network card (Promise Tech) 9g or 18g
