I am trying to install XP Pro on a Toshiba laptop. The machine turns off every time during the installation right after I choose which partition and it starts formating. I took the hard drive out and installed XP on it with it being connected to a desktop. I put the drive back in the laptop and it does nothing. It will not even start Windows. I changed the RAM and tried to reinstall XP on the drive again and I am still having the same problems. I’m not sure if this is a power supply problem, over heating problem, or something else. Please help!
