I bought a 4 month old Dell from someone because it the system was locked up. I am assuming the ADP circuit had been triggered and the EEPROM is in power down mode. Would programming the EEPROM boot sector to 0 work. Sec_Prot 0. What is the best way to program the EEPROM unlock the system?? I do not have an RLink is this the only way to program the circuit?
