SYSTEM32 window pops up after login…

by adesso . Updated 24 years, 4 months ago

After logging in to WIN 2000, the SYSTEM32 window pops up on the desktop. I have checked sysinfo, startup folder, everywhere that I know that includes my bootup sequence, but no evidence of SYSTEM32 anywhere in them.

How can I stop it from popping up each time I log in??

Thanks,
Michael

Addt. info:
The best that I can tell, the problem started after I installed all the peripherals (ie, printer, scanner, zip drive.). My HP Scanjet 5100C required a special driver in order to be compatible with WIN2000, but the others fit right in.
