If you had the option to be called “Director of I.S., Director of M.I.S., or Director of I.T.”, which would you choose and why.
My title is Director of I.T. and Change Mgt.
I felt the “I.T.” covers not only systems development and support, but also overall strategy. Then the “Change Management” portion covers the potential reach of I.T., reengineering initiatives and risk management.
I have never seen a clear answer to the I.S., M.I.S. and I.T. debate. However tell someone your the Director of Finance and they say “OH OK”.
Any thoughts?
