SystemWorks2000/ XP Pro / Scripting Err.

I recently bought/installed XP Pro and wanted to install new SystemWorks 2000 Pro ; at the end of installing, the SW requests registration for futur update downloads ; systems gives here following error message :
“Internet Explorer Script Eror
Line 4 Char 2 Error:Unspecified Error Code:0 URL:res//NSWCfg.exe/subscriptionInfo.htm”
removing all other APPS, re-installing XP and Systemworks did not help, not agter RegClean and SYMclean

Not having registered the product, update of virus definitions is not possible ..
