Hello all, I have a question regarding practical networking experience for my career. I recently came out of a NOC where we were getting some good experience in network fundamentals and because our work load was transferring soon I had to seek other employment. I’m studying for my CCENT/CCNA in R&S because working in data center or security at the end of the day is my goal. I was offered a position with a very decent company to work in electrical diagnosing T-1’s, T-3’s, and so forth and because I am unfamiliar with this particular line of experience, not a lot was covered on it if at all in my Cisco books, maybe some in N+, I wondered how this would look on my resume and if it would in fact be good experience for me to get. Any advice is appreciated.
