Here’s the problem I’ve been having.
I have a T1 connected to a netopia router setup by my ISP. The Netopia router is then connected to a linksys broadband router for a firewall then to a network switch. I have 10 computers connected to this switch, on these computers I run a brokerage software package that connects over the internet to make trades. I have traced this problem down to one user, every time he updates a trade by sending a ton of data out to the internet he causes everyone including himself to timeout. It seems like their is a bottleneck at this linksys firewall, I have contacted my ISP and they told me that I have not gone over 300kb which means its not a problem with my T1 being throttled down by my ISP.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
