Locked

task manager

By Shanghai Sam ·
One of the users on my network has done something to his Win Nt machine that cause the "lock workstation" function, along with another to be disabled in the Ctrl+Alt+Del Task manager screen. I logged onto the machine and it worked just fine...something must be wrong with his profile. Any ideas as to how to correct the problem?

Log on as the administrator and delete his profile. Then log out and log in as that user again. His profile will be re-created.
CAUTION: If there are personal files or settings that you want to retain, copy them, move them, or remember how to recreate them again.

Get on the network domain server as the network administrator.Disable that workstation from the network which will automatically disable the log-in id and password for the particular pc.
now reboot the system.
when the system opens ,you wil not see that pc as a workstation of your network(as it has been disabled). now enable it again with the
user-access u want to be given to the users, but this time grant a different log-in id and password for the workstation.hope this will work.
