My company wants to develop two to three scenarios, for various size fictional companies, which would use realistic numbers and demonstrate how our product can reduce their TCO for IT assets.
I have investigated the Gartner TCO Alliance and though it is thorough it really does not fill the niche we are looking for. I found another one from Alinean; which seems to fill the niche, but they carry it so far that the price becomes prohibitive.
We just want (without reinventing it if possible) a straight forward TCO Calculator for IT asset ownership that we can license to use for our internal purposes as well as creating the scenarios mentioned above.
Searches on the WEB yield hundreds of white papers written on TCO, yet finding a tool has proven to be a challenge.
So, that is my question:
Does anyone know of such a tool?
