TCP/IP Network Transport

Every time I start my PC, Windows 98, I ger a warning whicj says “Mobile Device Properties. The TCP/IP network transport is not installed.

This happened after I installed VPN softare from Windows add ons.
I have un-installed the VPN software but to no avail. I have also deleted an re-installed TCP/IP and tried Outlook and IE repair tools.

Can anyone help please?
