TCP/IP printer is offline after reboot.

by carl . Updated 25 years, 7 months ago

On Win95, I have a HPLJ2100, using Jet Admin I set it up as an IP printer, created the port, installed the driver etc, and it work fine.
But each time I reboot, the printer is greyed out, and becomes unavailable to the client. Others on the network can still print to it, and I can ping the printer even though I cannot print to it. The only way arounf this is to reinstall it.

It is definately a client problem. Does anyone have any ideas about where to start to look?
