I have a user that is on the NT 4 platform and has unistalled tcp/ip on his laptop. Here is the message that I get when I try to reinstall the tcp/ip both in his local account as well as the administrators account. SETUP MANAGER—Registry Service Subkey Already Exists. Followed by SETUP MANAGER—Unable to Remove Name Space Provider. Note: I have unistalled all services as well as the 3com fast ethernet card, adapters, bindings and drivers, and reinstalled them with only the same message appearing. Registry hack?
