It means that windows is searching for files from your disk and cannot find them. If you have the cab files on the computer, check to make sure the path is correct.

are you networking your computer? if you are when exactly does this message come up? Something you could try is that if it is the protocol itself:-
remove the tcp/ip protocol & reboot the computer.
add the tcp/ip protocol again (you made need to insert the os cd (you didn't say if you were running win95/98 or whatever). If this doesn't work, please explain exactly what it is you are trying to do & we'll go from there.
