I’m 31, have been a (mostly) Microsoft
network admin for 8 years and in the PC biz for 12. I have a broad base of PC tech and network knowledge.
I’ve kept up on my certs, read lots of books on technical as well as management subjects, and have alot of knowledge from “learning by burning.”
I’m finishing a Bachelors degree in Information Management this summer,
and I’m wondering if it’s time to make the switch from techie to manager.
I like the hands-on aspect, but I also enjoy making a plan come together.
How have you, or others you know made the switch? Anything anyone would suggest? Thank You!
