I have been in my current company for around 2 1/2 years. I started as a PC Support Tech and was promoted to Network Admin around 8 months after my hiring here. This is my first position in working with computers and my situation is this:
I have been told that I could use 3 technical supervisory references for validation of my current technical abilities and job functions. As this is my first position in computers the only supervisors that would have any knowledge of my technical abilities would be my current employers.
Obviously, if I were looking into the job market at the present time I would not want to inform my current employers of every position I am looking at.
I am curious of any other individual who has been in the same situation and what they managed to do for resolution. Also any other comments or suggestions are welcome.
