I am in charge of outfitting my company with new technologies and software for our new corporate website. I am having a dificult time choosing between the type of servers, scripting languages, databases, and software programs to use. Can anyone help with some success or failure stories they have experienced with different technologies and software?(i.e. ASP versus JSP, Oracle versus Sybase, Lotus Notes? Domino? IBM?) Why did you ultimatley choose what you did in the end? What were your constraints? Any help os greatly appreciated. Thanks!
