    Technrepublic Answers

    I ma using Windows Xp Pro.

    I put a question in this Q & A saection. The ansswer gets sent to my Outlook Express email.
    It infroms me that my question has been answered and to click on the link.

    When i click onto the link it does not take me to where the answers are. In fat it does nothing.

    How can i rectify this.

    Should i un install Internet Explorer and re install, if so how do i downlaod the latest I.E.

      No, it’s not your Internet Explorer. There are times when those links won’t work OR they won’t work right away or the first time. If it doesn’t work the first time, try it again. But this is a TechRepublic issue, not an issue with your Internet Explorer.

      What maxwell said, I occasionally get a “server not found” message from this site. I usually leave it alone for a couple of hours and come back to it. Then it will work with no problem. You could also check your temp internet files cache, it could need cleaning.

      Try copying the link and pasting directly into the address bar. If its really long and takes up more than one line go to tinyurl.com and paste it there and it will make a short URL to the same site.
