I have a user operating an older machine–Pent. 133, Windows 95 (person refuses to upgrade!). He uses a dial up connection to the web, but when I try to make a new connection for him, I get the following error: Telephony.ini is corrupt, then it tries to reinstall the modem. I reinstalled dial-up networking which allowed the modem to initialize, however, before it dialed it gave me the same error then wanted to reinstall again.
Any ideas on how to re-install telephony.ini for Win 95. I tried to install it from the CD without luck. I know the modem is good and assigned the proper IRQ (COM 3 resources) and there is nothing wrong with the phone line.
Thanks for the help.
