Term Services -Office Question

By d.jones092 ·
Having trouble installing Office 2000 SB on a Win2k SP4 Term Server. When I put the server in install mode, it tells me that some features in Word 9.0 are unsupported in Term Services, and that I should consult the Office 2k Res Kit. Upon doing so, I find nothing in the "Term Services Tools" piece of the res kit. Is there something I'm missing here? I cannot get Word to function properly in Term Services.

Thanks for any info.

Unfortunately, the transformation did not work. We're still getting the problem. I ran the procedure several times, and we are still getting it.

Any thoughts?

Yes there is a file to get from the Resource Kit
called TERMSRVR.MST copy this file to your hard drive i.e. c:\O2Kinstal then use add remove programs and browse to the office setup.exe and add the following to the add program command line:
TRANSFORMS=path\TermSrvr.mst i.e. :
TRANSFORMS=C:\O2Kinstal\TermSrvr.mst
Your Office should now install correctly.
