Terminal Server and the Local drive

I am having a problem with mapping local hard drive access during the Terminal Server 2000 session. I have installed the Drmapsrv.exe on the Server as well as the client as per the resource kit instructions. According to these instructions the mapping should happen automatically, however this is not the case with my setup. I have even tried using the Net use and the Net share commands to no avail. Can anyone give me some input as to how to make the local drive accessible in the Terminal Server session?
