Terminal Server kicks me out

By lheisey ·
When I log onto my terminal server from home it prompts me to login and then it kicks me out and closes my session. I have verified login and password. What might be happening here?

Does it work while you are at work within the local network? Either the Remote Access Service policy is preventing you from getting in, or you simply do not have Dial-In permission. If you are the sysadmin, go to your account's properties and enable Dial-In permission.

Another thought would be Licenses..do you have 'em, enough of 'em
are you using administrator mode or application mode? can others get in from home? Like the other response, you've check username and password, but did you check dial-in permissions?Has IPSec been configured on either machine - unwanted, and causing problems...mabey a VPN client somewhere.
Do you have 'logon locally permissions'
mabey your connection from home is too slow....????
Just a couple ideas, hope it helps...
