I have a Win2k terminal server that ran out of available licenses.
It started to assign temporary licenses to additional clients that tried to connect.
Now some of the licenses have expired and the clients with expired licenses cannot connect to my terminal server. I then loaded the necessary patches to fix the reissuance of licenses and eventually loaded SP3. (Which also fixes this problem). Then I had Microsoft Clearing House reissue my ?lost? licenses. Now there are available licenses but still the clients with expired licenses could not connect.
I then renamed the client machine and deleted the terminal server key in the registry under HKEY Local Machine\Software\Microsoft\MSLicensing\Store
Then tried to reconnect but still to no avail. Theses are on Win?95 and ?98 clients.
Can anybody help???
