We have a HP ProLiant DL380 G5 server which is running Vmware ESXi 4.0.0.
On the VM we have a virtual machine running Windows Server 2003 Terminal services (2003 version 5.2 R2 SP2). Users connect to the Terminal Server using HP Thinclients.
A few of our users have a file share setup with a DFS file share, which connects to a share volume on a Mac OS X Server (version 10.5.8).
Working on the file share is fine, but occasionally the TS server will hang when trying to open or save files to the file share, causing a disconnect of the session, and sometimes requiring the reboot of the Terminal Server VM. This is not a problem for people connecting through Windows XP to the same file share.
It could be a combination fault between VmWare/Terminal Server and Mac, but we are at our end with trying to find a solution.
Any advise would be appreciated!!
