Terminal Server Printing

By mike.winfrey ·
I have NT4 terminal server edition. How do I configure printing to the client's local printer?

The only way...

I've found to enable 'local' printing with Terminal Server is to share the printer at the desktop, and make it available to the server. Then the client can select his/her printer when prompted for a printer.

Other than that, you're pretty much limited to available Network printers, at least to my knowledge.

Where am I?

If you are running applications off the terminal server, they are actually running on the terminal server and all printing will have to be done from there. Like the guy said, share the local printer and set it up on the terminal server.

The only"local" printing you can do are with apps running on the local workstation.
