I am looking for help with a SSL vpn and printing. I currently have a windows 2003 terminal server at the mail office.
At the remote office I have 2 windows xp machine on a network sharing an Brother Hl-2170w printer. The printer is connected to 1 pc via usb and shared That pc works fine.
When i vpn into the terminal server and print from my application the pc with the printer connected via usb works fine, but on the other pc the print jobs stays in the print Q until I disconnect from the vpn. However as soon as I disconect my vpn session the printer starts spitting out the print jobs. If I install the printer as a network printer both pc’s won’t print until I disconnect. Is this a printer driver, vpn or local router issue???
